What's the difference between KAIAN and EVOLURE?
KAIAN is the company name; EVOLURE is a skincare brand operated by KAIAN. Clear separation:

- evolure.skin — Know (AI skin diagnosis)
How many ingredients and articles are covered?
328 ingredients (3 languages) · 118 articles · plus news. Each ingredient page includes effect, mechanism, concentration, cautions and evidence (PubChem CID / PubMed).
How to use
How does the compare (⚖) feature work?
Add up to 5 ingredients with the + Compare button on any ingredient page → open /compare from the ⚖ icon. Side-by-side comparison of effect, mechanism, concentration and cautions. Data is stored on your device only; nothing is sent externally.
What are ★ Save and My Library?
Tap the ★ on an article or ingredient page to save, then view them at /my. Stored on device only — no account needed. Clearing browser data will remove them.
How does search work?
/search covers ingredients, concerns, articles and products. Partial matches work. Searching a competitor product surfaces its ingredients (linked to the dictionary) and related articles. No prices or rankings are shown.
How do I browse by function tags?
Start from /concerns: skin concern → function → ingredients. Nine tags: Moisturizing, Antioxidant, Brightening, Soothing, Exfoliation/Pores, Barrier, Firmness/Aging, Sebum/Acne, Anti-glycation.
Reliability of information
Where do the evidence links come from?
The Evidence field on each ingredient page links to real PubChem (compound identity) and PubMed (peer-reviewed research). For blends and extracts where a single CID doesn't apply, we say so explicitly. Figures vary by test conditions and do not indicate pharmaceutical efficacy.
Is AI skin diagnosis available on kaian.jp?
No — that lives at evolure.skin. kaian.jp is where you learn; evolure.skin is where you know yourself; evolure.jp is where you choose / buy.
